Cmd+F for everything you've read.
A Chrome extension that quietly captures pages you actually read, then lets you semantic-search and ask AI questions across your own reading.
Most things we read get lost. You remember reading something about private credit liquidity last month, but not where — and your bookmarks are useless. Browser history is a chronological list, not a searchable corpus.
Readback runs in the background and saves only pages you actually engage with — at least 25 seconds of dwell time, real scroll, real text. Capture, indexing, and search all run locally on your machine. Nothing about your reading touches a server unless you click Ask, in which case your question and the relevant excerpts go to Anthropic's API to generate the answer.
Currently in private beta with a small group of testers. Public launch on the Chrome Web Store soon.
