Readback

Cmd+F for everything you've read.

A Chrome extension that quietly captures pages you actually read, then lets you semantic-search and ask AI questions across your own reading.

[demo video โ€” coming soon]

Most things we read get lost. You remember reading something about private credit liquidity last month, but not where, and your bookmarks are useless. Browser history is a chronological list, not a searchable corpus.

Readback runs in the background and saves only pages you actually engage with โ€” at least 25 seconds of dwell time, real scroll, real text. Capture, indexing, and search all run locally on your machine. Nothing about your reading touches a server unless you click Ask, in which case your question and the relevant excerpts go to Anthropic's API to generate the answer.

Add to Chrome (coming soon)

Currently in private beta with a small group of testers. Public launch on the Chrome Web Store soon.
